WOLF ADDS YORK DOOR STYLE TO CLASSIC CABINETS

Company also introduces enhancements to entire cabinet line

(York, Pa.)WOLF Home Products today announced the addition of a new door style for its WOLF Classic Cabinet line: the York door in painted white.  WOLF is the largest supplier of kitchen cabinets in the U.S. and a leading provider of building products along the East Coast.

The York door is a transitional design, blending traditional and contemporary design features, broadening its appeal to a variety of design tastes.  The York Door was developed specifically to meet a marketplace need, with input from more than 150 designers and customers. The York door features:

  • Decorative flat panel
  • 5-piece drawer head
  • Full overlay
  • Wood dovetailed drawer
  • Real American maple doors
  • Soft-close door/drawer
  • Full extension, undermount glides
  • MDF center panel

WOLF Classic Cabinets —introduced in 2011 —are made in the United States from hand-selected American maple, and were created to offer higher quality and faster delivery than cabinets built overseas.  Noteworthy recent additions to the Classic Cabinet line include:

  • U.S.-made Grass® drawer glides and door hinges
  • Post catalytic paint finish that resists dings and scratches
  • Stronger miter joints

WOLF developed the Classic Cabinets line as part of a major strategic shift that began in 2010, when WOLF began the transition from a traditional two-step distributor to a sourcing company that focuses on identifying or developing products designed solely to meet the needs of independent dealers.

Today, WOLF develops products and programs that enable 3,000 pro dealers across 33 states. For more information, visit the WOLF Home Products website.

New unit will focus on contractors and serious do-it-yourselfers

February 20, 2012 | Wolf, the York, Pa.-based cabinetry and building material distributor, today announced the creation of the Wolf Home Products division, which will focus on selling U.S.-made products for contractors and do-it-yourselfers.

Wolf Home Products includes several existing lines: Wolf Classic Cabinets, Wolf Deck & Porch, Wolf Trim & Moulding, and Wolf Bath Furniture & Vanity Tops.

The creation of the division is a part of a major strategic shift the company began in 2010. The move sought to move Wolf away from its business model as a traditional two-step distributor and focus it as a sourcing company focused “on identifying or developing products designed solely to meet the needs of independent dealers.”

The new division will focus on Wolf’s 18-state service area, as well as offering the company’s products to other channels both inside and outside the U.S. Its products will only be available through independent dealers and not big-box retailers.

The division also unveiled a new logo and tagline, “Real Performance, Real Value,” as part of the announcement. Craig Danielson, president of the Wolf Organization, will serve as president of the home products division.

“The new division better aligns our company’s structure with a significant opportunity for growth from Wolf-branded products,” Danielson said. “At the same time, it enables us to develop and source products that complement the products Wolf distributes for our manufacturer partners.”
